We offer treatment to persons with problems due to alcohol, tobacco and other drug misuse, providing out-patient consultations, in-patient care and through out-reach clinics. Specialized and individually tailored care is offered by a multi-disciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists,  social workers, occupational therapist and nurses experienced in addiction medicine.

We also provide specialized treatment for cessation of smoking and tobacco chewing. More..        

The Centre also provides training in planning and providing care for persons with addictive disorders to both specialist care-givers and public health providers.

The Centre is involved in research: in the history, prevalence, patterns and outcome of misuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs in India; in the causes of individual susceptibility to addiction; in innovative treatments and public health interventions.

We are actively involved in advocacy and documentation to influence public policies relating to alcohol and other drugs in India
